20 Random facts about me.
I would firstly like to thank Becca from Becca Blogs It Out for tagging me in this blogger Q&A, hope you all enjoying reading this as much as I did writing it.
It’s been a while, well, in fact, it’s been 6 months I can’t believe it where the hell has the time gone, sometimes you just get wrapped up in the day to day things of life and forget to share the important things. But we are back to share our experiences with you.
So, what have we been up to in this last 6 months,
We have had birthdays all four of us, Amelia had a joint 6th unicorn party with her best friend and Kylie had a grown-up meal out with friends for her 11th and me my last year in my 20’s so no party till next year for me. What else have we been up too, we have had lots of choir performances, we did ‘rock the moor’ an 80’s festive which they hold in Cookham, Maidenhead every year, this was our first festival together and although it rained on and off all day it defiantly won’t be our last.
I’m looking through my pictures on my phone to help me remember, is that really bad?
We were very lucky to receive a very unique product to review from the kind people at Photowall, that are based in Sweden but ship worldwide. I must admit when I ordered my product that I was a quick turnaround from ordering to receiving the product and I got an email and a text to confirm the date.
So, I bet from the name of the company you can guess what product I got…………a canvas but this is different because you have to put it together yourself. I liked the idea of this as it is quite fun putting things together, the thinking behind this is even better because it does come flat pack there is less chance of it getting damaged in transit as well as using less packaging, WIN WIN!
Ironing the school uniforms and work clothes yesterday it had finally dawned on me that the half term was very nearly over, but we had a fun week on the cheap and had 3 good days out all for under £60.
I love half terms or any school holiday for that matter, as I’m off work as well as having the girls at home. Normally this time of year we just stay in, the girls watch endless amounts of films, while I use the time to catch up on housework, doing all the shit jobs that I don’t normally have time to do after work. But none of this work starts until we have a mammoth lay in, until about half nine. Please don’t come at me with your pitchforks, I have been blessed with two very good sleepers from a young age, don’t ask me how. Anyway none of that happened this week,we got up early and done what was need to be done cleaning wise, the girls are now at a age where they can do little thing for me like make their beds and washing up or helping to load the washing machine, and we met up with our friends from school.
On Thursday I was lucky enough to go to the theatre with mum and her friends, we try and do this at least once a year. This time we were going to go and see the West end show Kinky Boots.
I read a short review online and all I could remember is that ‘it’s from the factory floor to Milan’. That’s all I knew.
Boy was I in for a treat!!!
Based on the 2005 British film and book By Harvey Fierstein, inspired by a true story with music and lyrics by Cyndi Lauper. I want to tell you sooo much that happens but I don’t want to spoil the story for people that haven’t seen it. So I will try and tell you as much as I can without spilling too much.
