Poundland August finds.
As sad as it sounds Poundland is one of my favourite shops and 9 times out of 10. Its one of my go to places if I need cleaning bits, the girls want a drink or snack while we are in town and more recently I have really been loving their clothing range Pep and Co, for the girls and myself. The clothing itself washes well and if you love Primark you will love their stuff. So with this in mind I have decided every month I will share with you my favourite finds. Some I have bought others I haven’t but I only haven’t brought as I don’t need these things but hope they will help others.
This month there was quite a lot of stationary as it is back to school very soon, it was very hard resist buying everything as me and the girls do LOVE our stationary, but we did buy a few bits. Here are a few bits from their range, I will be sharing a few more of our finds in our back to school post.
The weekly planner is a magnetic one so I thought it would be great to go onto our fridge for meal planning and to write down what we need each week. So when we go shopping I don’t end up double buying. We picked up the highlighters and calculator for Kylie as she is starting secondary school in September and has a very long list of stationary.
Christopher Robin is being released in the cinema on 17th August, which as a family we are very excited to go watch. Have you seen the trailers? It does look awesome. Poundland have brought out a range that is so cute from ribbon to gift tags.
We found these cute bath and shower bubbles in LOL doll and behind it, Amelia spotted the Disney Princess one. They also had these cool Avengers bath bombs for the boys. These can be great to pop away for little stocking fillers. We also found the Nair hair removal cream. Which I have never spotted before, they defiantly retail for a lot more than £1 in Boots and Superdrug.
I fell in love with these wine glasses, the colours are gorgeous, this picture hasn’t picked up on the colours very well though. The printed one would be perfect to put away for a birthday or Christmas present for a friend or family member along with their favourite bottle of wine. We brought a reed diffuser in exotic mango, so far I am loving it. The bottle is a glass bottle but its quite thick glass and smells amazing. I feel in love with this two toned purple gift bag, I had a look online and found one that looked the same but with out the party tag and it was £7.05 without delivery.
The last thing I have to share with you was this Shnooks toy Amelia asked me for. Admittedly this is not £1 but was only £2. I thought it did look worth it, although I hadn’t heard of them before so decided to have a look at what they retailed at. I found one that looked identical to this one on The Works website and was £8,so a saving of £6.
I hope you have enjoyed this months Poundland finds If there are any areas you would like me to feature please do drop me a comment below or send me a DM on one of my social media accounts.
