20 Random facts about me.
I would firstly like to thank Becca from Becca Blogs It Out for tagging me in this blogger Q&A, hope you all enjoying reading this as much as I did writing it.
When was the last time you cried?
I’m going to be completely honest here,a few weeks ago. I had my tooth out which turned out there was a massive absess behind it and was put on strong antibotics. Me being me doesn’t do ill very well. Trying to do housework instead of resting got half way round the kitchen to find out I was too weak to do it and ending up breaking down to my partner. 🙁
If you were another person,would you be a friend of yourself?
I’d like to think so.
I think I’m a good friend and like to listen and help people where I can.
Do you use sarcasm a lot?
Umm just a little,is it mean I use it on the girls sometimes. They are 11 and 7 so are at the ages where they do understand,but I do get the “Oh mum!” I do it just to tease them thought.
What’s the first thing you notice about people?
Eyes, I think you can tell a lot about someone through their eyes.
Scary movie or happy endings?
Defiantly happy endings,I must admit I do love a film or a series that has a bit of love in it and you have to agree nothing beats the fairytale saying, “and they all lived happily ever after.”
Fresh laundry,new born babies and my airwick spray clean linen. I sound really mummzy now, don’t I.
What’s the furthest you’ve ever been away from home?
Fuerteventura, our first holiday as a family together 2 years ago.
Do you have any special talents?
I don’t think I do have any.
Where were you born?
I was born at Wexham Park Hospital in Slough. The same place I had both the girls.
What are your hobbies?
I love reading anything that has a love story, I’m there and bargain hunting, if I can save on something I will.
What did you want to be when you were growing up?
I always wanted to be a primary school teacher but at secondary school I wasn’t that bright and decided I wasn’t clever enough so lost the dream.
How many countries have you ever been to?
2, I went to France when I was in year 6. In the last two years I’ve got the travel bug and been to Fuerteventura twice and Marbella in April for my 30th.
What was your favourite and worst subject at school?
My favourite had to be art,although I wasn’t amazing at it I love that you can get into your own place and show your own view of what you see in front of you.
My worse had to be History, I only took it as a GCSE as we had to choose between Geography and History.
What is your favourite drink?
Non alcoholic has to be orange and mango swash. But nothing hits the spot after a long hot day at work and and ice cold Strawberry and lime Rekorderlig.
What would you (or have you) named your kids?
I have two girls already and their names are Kylie and Amelia.
Emily Norris– mum to 3 boys,sharing being a mum,cleaning and organising.
Mrs Meldrum-mum to 3 girls,sharing speed cleans,clothing hauls and raising her daughter’s.
Holly vlogs– the best money saving/bargain hunter in the world.
Emma Drew – Poundland hauls and amazing blogging tips and help.
How many boyfriends have you had?
Only 2, I met my fiancé 15 years ago and been together ever since.
Favourite memory from childhood?
When my grandad set up his fully working sit on train in our close for my sister’s birthday. He loved that train,and so did all the kids.
How would you describe your fashion sense?
Boring and mummzy, day to day I live in jeans apart from summer where I do where dresses. I spose I scared I will look silly in things so tend to just go with what I know.
Tell us one of your bad habits?
Saying I’ll do it in the minute or later and normally it never happens.
